Rosie
They say that life is a beautiful lie and death a painful truth. They're right.
No one has ever made me feel more alive than the guy who serves as a constant reminder that my clock is ticking.
He is my forbidden, shiny apple.
The striking fallacy to my blunt, raw, truth.
He is also my sister's ex-boyfriend.
One thing you should know before you judge me;
I saw him first. I craved him first. I loved him first.
Eleven years later, he waltzed into my life, demanding a second chance.
Dean Cole wants to be my bronze horseman. My white knight has finally arrived. Hopefully, he isn’t too late.
Dean
They say the brightest stars burn out the fastest. They’re right.
She sets my mind on fire.
All smart mouth, snarky attitude and a huge heart.
In a world where everything is dull, she shines like fucking Sirius.
Eleven years ago, fate tore us apart.
This time, I fucking dare it to try.
Getting to her is a battlefield, but man, that’s why they call me Ruckus.
Rosie LeBlanc is about to find out how hard I can fight.
And conquering her will be the sweetest victory.
L.J. Shen resides in sunny California with her husband, son, chubby cat and wild, wild dreams.
Her passion is to write badass stories, sushi, UFC and her awesome family and friends (not in this order, though. Obviously, sushi comes before writing. Oh, and also the family part.)
She spend the first half of her twenties traveling the world and is now paying all the fun with extra shifts in front of her MacBook. Feel free to contact her on her Facebook page. She loves to hear from her readers.

Sometimes as a reader, you're on a quest for something amazing. You dont know what it is yet, but you know you just want - NEED - something that's just so amazing that it blows your mind.
Before I began this "blogger life" I came across a book, Blood to Dust by L.J Shen - thanks in large part to my new Kindle Unlimited subscription. It was unlike any other book I had ever read. I was still finding my place, what types of books that draw my attention - what books get me excited to read. And THAT was it.
I began to stalk L.J. Shen on Facebook, Amazon - devouring everything I could that she had written.
And I have no shame in admitting that she is one of my all time favorite authors.
The HotHoles from the Sinners of Saint Series? One my my all-time FAVORITE series.
Ruckus is book three - our beautiful story of Rosie and Dean.
Both characters that we meet briefly through Defy and Vicious.
L.J. Shen has a way with her writing. She wraps a rope around you, around your heart and pulls you in closer - tying you so tightly to this story that you feel that you are a part of it.
These characters are so well written - their history and past something that tugs at your insides.
You feel every single emotion, every single conflict and flaw. You fall in love with them. You hate them. They drive you crazy. And you want SO much for them and their future.
This book guts you in the most amazing ways. I cried so much reading this. That's how I know what an OUTSTANDING author L.J. Shen is.. I have to have a box of tissues nearby because my goodness, this woman brings about ALL.OF.THE.FEELS. This book had everything I hoped it would have when I found out Dean and Rosie were getting a story.
I love Dean. I love Rosie. I love Ruckus
And I love L.J. Shen.
If I could give this book more than 5 stars I would. Because it deserves it. This is by far, L.J.'s best work.. And considering her work was phenomenal before? That should tell you how amazing this book is.
I CAN'T WAIT for more of L.J. Shen's work.
