Katy Evans absolutely astonishes me each and every time I pick up one of her books. And I have picked them ALL up because - let me tell you - she is a story-teller like no other. There hasn't been a tale of hers that I didn't absolutely fall in love with. She creates the most perfect book boyfriends. No, seriously! You really want to become the female lead in her books because these guys - they're perfectly flawed in their own ways..
Which is why you completely fall in love with every single one of them.
And that definitely goes for Aaric Christos. THIS. MAN. You know that emoji, with the hearts as eyes 😍 ? Or those old cartoons when they see the object of their affection, their heart thumps right out of their chest? That's the kind of emotions that HE brought me.
Bryn comes face to face with her biggest "what if" from the past when she reaches out to Aaric for help with her start-up business. Gone is the young mechanic who fought for a kiss.. Replaced with a ruthless, confident, strong businessman. One who makes her really fight for what it is she wants. And those lines become a little more blurred the more time they spend together. Those "what ifs" are within reach for both of them.
The chemistry these characters have will make your e-reader sizzle. The tension, the butterflies, the swoon worthy moments (And there are SO MANY swoon worthy moments) will have you eager to turn the page. I devoured this book in one sitting. Ate. It. Up. Completely.
Anytime you reach for a Katy Evans book, you know you're in for a real treat. She brings out so many emotions. This book had me laughing, crying (I mean, ugly-girl sobbing crying), smiling so big my face hurt, screaming and ready to throw my kindle.. And falling so in love that my tummy was all twisted and heart felt like it would burst. This has to be one of my favorite Katy Evans books. (But then again, they're all my favorite.) I could not recommend it more. Romance? Beautiful story with wonderful characters? Hot (and I mean HOT) sex scenes with a male lead you want for your own? This books has it all. LOVED.LOVED.LOVED. If I could give this book more than 5 stars I would.. GET THIS BOOK! You NEED Christos in your library!
