Pepper Winters has a way with words. She draws you in and captivates you right from the beginning. Each and every one of her stories is so intricately woven together it has you wondering..How does she come up with this? She's an absolutely astounding story-teller. You fall in love with the world she creates and with these characters that she introduces us to. Each and every one of her books always keeps me up till the early morning because it's just way too hard to put it down!
If you haven't read Crown of Lies.. STOP RIGHT HERE. Because you need to read the first book to really understand this second in the Truth and Lies series. We pretty much pick up just after the first book ends.
I loved Penn and Elle's story. They went through so much. Both for each other and because of each other. And they came out not only better, but much stronger because of it. You understand where each character's frame of mind is..what they're thinking..why they are acting the way they are. The Lies came out in book one.. And the Truths are exposed in book two. You can't help but have your heart tugged at and just want so much for these two. You wish so much that they would overcome their obstacles and thrive together.
Loved this book. I loved this series. I love everything Pepper Winters writes. Definitely recommend this to everyone looking for a great story! (But again, you gotta get book 1 first! ;) )
