This was my first Max Monroe book. And I. ABSOLUTELY. LOVED. IT. It was so clever - the twists on the classic fairy tale - AMAZING. Creatively written, this book drew me in with it's intrigue, quick pace, and incredible characters.The blurb gives away much of the story - A "bad man" meets a lost girl. Their journey kept me riveted and glued to my kindle. I could NOT put it down, and I devoured this book in one sitting. A dark romance mixed with a little bit of comedy - you get all the right feels when you read this story. Max and Alex's tale will keep you wanting more.. I was really sad when I realized the story was over. I want more..I NEED more!
I could not recommend this book more. It has become one of my favorite reads of 2017.
