Amo Jones has such an amazing mind when it comes to story telling. Whether it is the Elite Kings Series, or any of her others. She constantly keeps you guessing, and you never know what you are going to get when you begin one of her books.
The Broken Puppet is a continuation of The Silver Swan.
*BIG WARNING* YOU NEED TO READ THE SILVER SWAN FIRST.
This book begins immediately where The Silver Swan left off and if you haven't read it you'll be way too confused.
Well, I read it and I'm still confused. But in a good way. Some of my questions from The Silver Swan were answered. But I was just left with MORE questions once I was done with The Broken Puppet. Oh. My. GOODNESS! I ate this story UP. Devoured it and was done with it within hours! So many things happen to our Bishop and Madison. Oooh, Bishop. I'd love to be locked up in a room with him and keep him all for myself. He's absolutely, deliciously, so amazingly alpha - I. LOVE. HIM. I feel like he's grown so much between SS and BP. I loved seeing a different side of him, and I am craving SO much more of him. Our girl Madison has grown a lot as well. With everything she learns in this book, I found myself deeply admiring her strength. Although at times, I kinda wanted to smack her upside the head (You'll know what I mean). She's a sweet, caring, naive, and broken girl. But she's so incredibly strong - Especially with Bishop in her corner.
There was a LOT of story going on in this book. Considering this IS an Amo book.. If you're looking for a ton of sex scenes (Like, SS).. You wont find it. BUT that was okay with me! There was so much going on that I didn't even notice. What there was, tho? OH. MY. GOD.
Yes, please. More! And.. YUMMY! Of course. :)
I CANNOT WAIT for the next installment of The Elite Kings Club. There are so many things I need to know the answers to. I need more Bishop and Madison. And Nate! I need me a Nate, too. That ending will have you screaming, ready to CRY because there was no more story left! Another amazing book by the incomparable Amo Jones.
